Preserving the Arnold Press Stimulus

Shows how a front raise to lateral raise can preserve shoulder rotation when overhead pressing is not appropriate.

Coaching videos

In Launch, we talk about preseving the stimulus of the movement. When we break down the Arnold press, what makes it unique is the rotational aspect. If members are limited to no overhead movements, we can preserve the stimulus by using a front raise to a lateral raise. We still target the front delt to start, use a rotational aspect to shift it to the medial delt all the while keeping the members safe without going overhead.
