Single Arm Clean Technically should be titled a hang power clean. (Hang: starting position, power: noting it is received in a high squat vs a full squat) this movement is all about a big violent hip extension followed by a rapid small retract, so an opening and closing of the hip. Best thing we can do is to simplifying for the members; jump the weight up to shoulder height, and land in a baby squat. Just jump and land. This has nothing to do with a curl and I dislike it as an option personally. If member need an option find something to mirror or mimic and aggressive hip opening (ideally followed by a quick close, but at least the hip extension)
